How it works
NGB issues a badge
A governing body awards a qualification, licence, or recognition. Attested signs it with a cryptographic key held in Azure Key Vault — the private key never leaves the vault.
Recipient adds it to LinkedIn
The recipient receives a notification and can add the credential directly to their LinkedIn profile in one click, with the issuing organisation linked automatically.
Anyone can verify
Every badge has a public verification URL. The JWT signature is checked against the issuer's published public key — no login, no API key, no need to contact anyone.
Built on open standards
Badges follow the 1EdTech Open Badges v3 specification and the W3C Verifiable Credentials data model, signed as RS256 JWTs. No proprietary lock-in.
